White-Glove Moving Services in Louisville, KY

Booking a White-Glove Move

Estimates are free and carry no obligation, and for a move with specialty pieces we’d strongly recommend an on-site walkthrough, and we’ll come out for any job on request. Whether you’re relocating across Louisville or to a nearby community, our local moving services cover the same specialty items safely.

We ask for at least 48 hours’ notice and recommend two weeks, more in the late-May-to-August stretch. Your $100 deposit secures the date and is applied to your final bill. Payment is due at completion by cash, check, or tap-to-pay card, with a 3% service charge on cards. Estimates don’t include the 6% Kentucky sales tax. Your crew chief reviews the itemized Bill of Lading with you before leaving.

White-Glove Moving Questions

No. The wrapping, the protection and the disassembly happen on every job we do - that's the standard, not a package. This page covers the pieces that need extra crew and specific equipment, not a different tier of service.

Upright pianos, yes, as part of a household move. Grand and baby grand pianos we don't take, for liability reasons - for those we'll point you to Gist Piano Center, who specialize in exactly that.

Safes between 300 and 500 pounds, yes, with at least three movers on site. A safe concentrates enormous weight on a very small footprint, which is what damages floors and stair treads, so it needs planning rather than improvising. Heavier safes we'd need to assess first.

Once it's disassembled, yes. Slate is heavy and brittle and a pool table should never travel assembled. Steepleton handles pool table work in Louisville if you need a referral. Above-ground pools are the same - disassembled only.

Furniture is wrapped before it leaves the room rather than at the tailgate, because the carry does more harm than the drive. Anything that won't clear a turn comes apart rather than getting forced, and where a banister is the obstacle we remove it. Tell us what the piece is worth and we'll estimate a protection plan built around it.

Grand and baby grand pianos, sheds, saunas and grandfather clocks. We also can't transport flammables, fuels, propane tanks, aerosols, paint, pool chemicals, ammunition or perishable food. If you own something that falls outside the list, ask at your estimate - a straight no now is worth more than a yes that unravels with a truck in your driveway.

Tell us what your white-glove items are worth and we'll estimate a custom protection plan for them, every time. We put it in writing before you book, so choosing coverage is a decision you make knowingly rather than something buried in paperwork you sign on the driveway.
