Know What It Costs Before You Book
Free estimates, a written price, and a deposit that comes off your final bill. No moving-day surprises.
Anchorage moves are about access and care rather than distance. The city grew up around a railroad stop in the late 1800s and never stopped looking like it - narrow lanes with heavy tree cover, deliberately no sidewalks or street lighting through much of it, deep wooded lots, and long private drives off Evergreen Road and Ridge Road. Many of the houses still have their original floors and staircases, built long before modern furniture. Our crews plan the route through the house before anything leaves a room.
Large properties and long carries, with the crew sized to the job at your free estimate.
In Anchorage, the risk isn't the distance; it's the house - and the driveway. Here's how we handle both.
Every truck we run is 26 feet. Some Anchorage drives take one comfortably; some have a turn, a tree limb, or a grade that means staging the load differently. We look at the approach during your free on-site estimate and plan the vehicle and crew around what's actually there, rather than sending a truck that can't reach the door.
Mattresses come off frames and into bags. Flat-screens get wrapped. Furniture is disassembled rather than forced through a doorway, and reassembled at the other end at no extra charge. Where a piece won't clear a turn, we take the banister off rather than push.
We move upright pianos and safes up to 500 pounds. We don't move grand or baby grands - for those, we'll point you to Gist Piano Center. Knowing the limits before move day is worth more than a promise that falls apart on the driveway.
We're family-owned, licensed and insured, and registered with the FMCSA as USDOT 4474565. Every mover on our crews is background-checked on an ongoing basis.

All of our trucks are 26 feet long, measuring 7 feet 9 inches wide and 6 feet 10 inches high inside, and have either a liftgate or a ramp. Some Anchorage drives take them comfortably; others don't. That's exactly what a free on-site estimate is for - we'd rather assess the approach in advance than work it out on move day.
They're a planning question rather than a problem. Anchorage roads are narrow by design, and the canopy sits low in places, so we check the route as well as the driveway and schedule around school and commuter traffic where it matters.
Furniture is wrapped before it leaves the room; mattresses go into bags; and anything that won't clear a turn comes apart instead of being forced. Where a banister is in the way, we remove it - our crews do it regularly.
Upright pianos, safes between 300 and 500 pounds, full-size treadmills, large massage chairs, and trampolines - each carrying a special-item fee confirmed with your estimate. Safes need at least three movers on site. Ping-pong tables carry no extra charge. We'll move pool tables and above-ground pools if they're already disassembled. We don't move sheds, saunas, or grandfather clocks.

No limit on box count or total weight - it only has to fit our trucks. One 26-foot truck holds roughly 1,600 square feet of normally furnished living space, so larger properties need more than one.
Yes, and we can include it in your moving estimate. For storage moves, you can either buy our moving blankets to keep everything wrapped the whole time it's stored, or we'll unwrap it on the way in.
